Benefits of Dance

Dance works wonders for a person’s physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. It boosts self-esteem and confidence and acts as a great stress buster. Dance is an outlet to express oneself and helps in staying physically and mentally fit. Along with improving cognitive performance, it works on one’s posture, strength, balance, and sense of musicality.

It makes the learner aware of their body and the space around them. Having to retain dance sequences and combinations, it enables memory development. Training in dance also inculcates valuable principles like discipline, dedication, and consistency.

The body has to be trained into a beautiful instrument which showcases grace, elegance, strength, and artistry all at the same time.

The Benefits of Ballet

The School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance specialises in training students who wish to learn ballet in its authenticity, making no compromise in the discipline that has to be inculcated in both the professional and the amateur student. This direction is also implemented in the training given for the other dance forms.

Ballet is a perfect Art. It requires tremendous discipline, focus, dedication and love for the subject. The body has to be trained into a beautiful instrument which showcases grace, elegance, strength, and artistry all at the same time.

The benefits of learning ballet are many; it is a passport to coping with any other form of dance. Ballet as a performing art is for the selected few (due to its anatomical demands), but its training can bring professionalism to the student in a much broader sense. Classical
Ballet

Classical Ballet is a beautiful art form which originated in the courts of the Italian Renaissance in the 15th and 16th century. It touches the soul of both, the viewer, and the performer. While it radiates an ethereal feeling, it also exhibits tremendous strength and bravado at the same time. A Ballet production comprises dancing, music, costumes, scenery, and lighting.
Ballet then spread from Italy to France, where it further developed as a performance focused art form in the 17th century, during the reign of King Louis XIV, who was passionate about dance.
The different eras of Ballet are – The Romantic Era, The Classical Era and The Contemporary Era.

There are numerous benefits of Ballet. It forms a strong foundation for other western dance forms. Its training can bring professionalism to the student in a much broader sense.
