The School Of Classical Ballet and Western Dance was founded in Mumbai in 1966 with just four students. Classes are held under the direction of its founder Tushna Dallas and her daughter Khushcheher who are both Registered Teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), London. The primary focus of the school is to train students in Western Classical Ballet which is taught through the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (London). This curriculum also includes Character and Free Movement. Other dances taught are Modern, Jazz and Latin American Dance, which is taught through the syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (London).
